4 hour solo: any bike within the approved classes list: SBK1000, SS750, and or Production Twins. NO featherweight bikes are allowed in the 4 hour.
NO, you can not compete SOLO in the RELAY CLASS. We shouldn't even have to explain this one. It doesn't even make sense.
RELAY CAN be any mix or match of bikes within the approved 4 hour classes (again: SBK1000, SS750, and Production Twins) What does that mean? Can I have a team mate with a 600 if I'm on a 1000? Yes.
There is NOT multiple classes within RELAY. It's just relay, there's no trophies for a team of 600's or 1000's, mixed or matched. You are competing as a relay team against other relay teams.
True Endurance: it's 1 bike, with up to 4 riders. Within is the 3 classes, you can trophy in one of those classes. You are either competing as a true endurance team in SBK1000, SS750, or Prod. Twins.
Can I compete in both the 2 hour and 4 hour? YES, if you have the appropriate bike and team mates for each race and sign up separately.
What is a Le Mans Start?
Riders go out for a warm up lap, the grid is based on qualifying times. Bikes are place at a 45 degree angle (from pit wall side, facing south west) the bike is held by one crew member. Rider is across the track opposite of their bike. When the green flag is dropped and waived, all riders run to their bikes. Get it started and go.Do I have to do a Le Mans start?
No. You may opt to start from the back of the grid on your bike and launch after all riders have reached their bikes.
When is Practice and Qualifying?
Both are one in the same and take place the morning of. See the day schedule.
Can I work on the bike under red Flag conditions? NO
Does the time ever stop? No. The time continues no matter what.
What about restarts?
Restarts go off of the original qualifying order.
Do Endurance points count towards MRA points? NO. This is a one off event, any future Endurance races added to the Schedule will see those points allocated only with LegionSBK.
Do I need a race license? YES, from an approved racing organization.
Are there trophies for 4th and 5th place?
NO, Podium finishes are 1st through 3rd only. Get better.
Is there an overall winner? Yes. What does that mean? Overall winner is the team with the most laps. Meaning a middleweight bike or team maybe got first in their class, but they also were up the most laps overall. This applies to all classes within the 4 hour.
Are there payouts?
This solely depends on sign ups. Once the entire event is paid for and covered. Any extra funds go directly back to the riders. Unless of course we get a sugar daddy sponsor that would like to pay out first through third in each class.
